Description
At the height of Isleton's Japantown this building was a Chinese restaurant called Sun-Kow Restaurant named after its original owner. Built sometime between 1928 and 1931. It was later run by Joe Kum You and Joe Gung and above the restaurant was a dance hall that only cost 10 cents to dance with one of the girls who were possibly prostitutes. Since then many businesses have occupied the spot with the Pour House Antique and Collectible Shop being the latest.
