During the height of Isleton's Japantown in the 1930s this area on the corner of Main and F Street housed a general goods store. Now it holds the only laundry mat in town.

The Isleton Sumo Wrestling team won a string of tournament matches from 1933-1935 and so was awarded this trophy that is today housed in the Isleton Brannan-Andrus Historical Museum.
