San Jose Japantown: A Look into the Past and the Presesnt is a short interview documentary focusing on the history of San Jose's Japanese community. The film was created by Erica Kao to provide awareness of the historical importance of San Jose's Japantown and was shown at the San Jose Buddhist Church, the Japanese American Museum of San Jose, at the Japanese summer school Suzume no Gakko and at Notre Dame San Jose High School.
